Emergency First Response - Airborne Pathogen Awareness Course - Online
The EFR Airborne Pathogen Awareness Distinctive course provides participants with a fundamental understanding of diseases that are transmitted primarily through the respiratory system. Participants learn the main mechanisms of transmission, as well as methods for reducing transmission risk through the use of disinfection, protective equipment, distancing and airflow. Ideal for workplace environments, or for organizations that host public gatherings.

At the end of this course, you will receive certification which lasts for up to 24 Months from an internationally recognized Diver training Agency (PADI). Classes are taught to ILCOR standards. You will learn the following skills: - Scene Assessment &amp; Barrier Use, Primary Assessment, Child CPR, Infant CPR, Serious Bleeding, Shock Management, Spinal Injuries &ndash; Choking Child, Choking Infant, Injury Assessment, Bandaging, Illness Assessment. You will be taught as a lay person these skills and will receive a recognized certification showing that you completed the course.
