Focusing on you and your dog outside of a group class setting, in a 1-2-1 dog training session, can be really useful for you and your dog. We can focus on specific goals you may have, from teaching a dog a new game such as retrievals or flirt pole, to training for specific situation such good dog manners when guests come to our house. We can also develop a training plan to help address existing undesirable behaviours your experiencing such as your dog pulling on lead, your dog not performing recall, dog to dog reactivity, dog to person reactivity or even your dog chasing birds or squirrels.   1-2-1 dog training sessions are typically 1 hour or 1.5 hours long, depending on the issue, or number of things you want to look at in a single session. Training can be carried out in your home/ garden or out at an agreed location, such as a local park, if suitable for you and your dog's particular issue. I am also happy for you to travel to me to train your dog at an agreed location. 1-2-1 dog training prices: 1 hour = £60, including follow up report. 1.5 hours= £90, including follow up report. (Longer sessions can be arranged by agreement, priced on an individual basis.) Above prices are based on Dog Training being in and around Bishop's Stortford (IE Sawbridgeworth, Much Hadham, Little Hallingbury, Harlow, Puckeridge, Standon, Manudon), I am happy to travel, subject to agreed travel costs.

The Snobby Dogs Refresh & Improve Dog Grooming Course is designed to assist qualified or experienced dog groomers in improving their grooming techniques and methods. The course will help dog groomers with their professional techniques such as bathing, drying, scissoring, styling and shaping. The course will cover Correct and safe handling of dogs Health Checking of a dog Drying dogs and prepare their coats for styling Scissor techniques Use of comb attachments Styling techniques Nail and ear care Students will receive all course materials and it is recommended that students bring along a camera for before and after photographs as well as pens, high-lighters and notepads. Hi, I’m Ondine a dog walker and trainer based in the Rhondda Valley. I have been training dogs since I was 8 years old when I finally persuaded my parents to allow me to get my first dog, Sam an incredibly naughty Border Terrier, Jack Russel cross. My life has led me to love and train all types of dogs from German Shepherds to Cayman Islands street dogs like Rosa. I have trained dogs to fight crime with the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service and have interned with the Miami Dade Police Department K9 Unit. I have also been lucky enough to train Flyball with the wonderful Pam Martin and the Top Dog Flyball Team as well as be coached by the Canadian Flyball champions and world record holders, Team Spring Loaded Flyball. All of this experience and fun has led me to be a firm believer that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. This course covers the basics of dog grooming. In addition to 5 days at our school, there are 2 written modules, grooming diaries and 1 assessment at the end of the 5 days. The 5 days on this course count as part of the 15 day Certificate or the 30 day Diploma if you wish to upgrade. This qualification is aimed to introduce students to dog grooming, and give you a taste of what being a dog groomer could be.

Puppy training classes and dog training classes are suitable for general dog training and relationship building. Classes are run in line with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Traioners) code of ethics, and training techniques are based upon positive reinforcement, using dog treats or dog toys and play as rewards for completing the actions we ask the puppy or dog to complete.    Classes will be limited to 6 people, to ensure I can circulate and provide individual feedback relevant to your puppy or dog training. We will teach foundation behaviours, with the benefit of being in a dog training class environment, which relies on your dog working around the distraction of other dogs. Classes will also teach you to effectively communicate with your dog and give you the skills to practice outside of classes and implement the training in your every day life, in a rage of environments. Puppy training classes and Dog training classes last 1 hour. They are run on Friday mornings in Bishop's Stortford. This course is an introduction to styling dogs. You will spend 15 full days on site doing practical learning with our fabulous dog models and tutors. There are 5 written modules, grooming diaries and 2 practical assessments at the end of the 15 days. This qualification is aimed to take students on a journey from complete beginners to be able to groom a selection of breeds.

Easter Monday Pilgrimage On Easter Monday, 21 April, join a thousand other pilgrims at St Albans Cathedral for a joyful pilgrimage and service that brings people together from across the Diocese. It’s a day for everyone— grandparents, parents, young people, kids, and even dogs (muddy boots welcome). There's no need to book tickets, just turn up! Or book to let us know your church is coming. The Service Arrive at the Cathedral to gather on the beautiful Abbey Orchard before heading inside from 2:30PM for an informal service at 3PM, filled with worship, a couple of thought provoking reflections and a short communion led by Bishop Richard, Bishop of Bedford.
