My name’s Marion Webber and I’ve been working in the field of Arts in Health and more general participatory arts for over a decade. Studies* have proven the benefits of taking part in creative activities that support our daily lives. I founded Arting Celfio during 2020, to enable Healthcare professionals and artists specialising within Arts and Health to collaborate and provide high-quality, tailor-made, person-centered arts projects. I am a practicing artist based in South Wales, with extensive experience in Participatory Arts Practice. This has given me the privilege to work with diverse participants on many commissions resulting in the installation of artworks in both temporary and permanent exhibitions. My art practice and knowledge inform how I collaborate and co-curate projects with Healthcare professionals and fellow artists within the field of Arts in Health. I have an MA (with Distinction - Arts Practice Arts, Health and Wellbeing) and gained a PGCE PcET Teaching Qualification (Post-16 and Adult Education sectors). I deliver creative workshops, informed by reflective practice and a commitment to continued professional development that connects, and provides meaningful activities that value people’s input and stories. Glen Park Primary is a two-form entry school set in wonderful grounds in Plympton. We are very proud of our school and the achievement and attitudes of our pupils. On the 1st September 2016, Glen Park Primary converted to academy status, and we are a member of the Westcountry Schools Trust. This is a collaboration of 13 primary and 5 secondary schools. We are very excited about the opportunities that the Trust and collaboration between the schools offers and supports us in our own school development and sharing of best practice. Our aim is simple; to ensure the best possible outcomes in terms of progress and attainment for every pupil, by providing the highest quality teaching and learning possible. We are extremely fortunate to have a highly committed staff who share the common aim of wanting to give your child the best possible start in life. Not only do we strive to achieve the highest level in literacy, numeracy and all round education, but we also work hard to ensure your children are safe, happy and contribute to our excellent standards of behaviour. In May 2019 the school received a Section 8 Ofsted Inspection. This was a single day inspection as the school was previously judged to be ‘good’ during our last inspection in 2012. The purpose of a short Section 8 inspection is to determine whether the school continues to provide a good standard of education and whether safeguarding is effective. We were delighted that the school secured the highest possible outcome from the process. Ofsted have concluded that whilst the school continues to offer our children a ‘good’ level of provision, there is sufficient evidence to suggest that the school may be judged outstanding if it received a full Section 5 inspection now. This means Ofsted will return to the school within the next 12-24 months to carry out a full Section 5 inspection. The HMI who carried out the inspection judged the school to have made significant process in a number of key areas. A copy of the inspection letter can be accessed here. Our curriculum is rich and vibrant, and we understand that every child is unique and at Glen Park Primary we care very much about the all-round development of every individual. We believe strongly that the education of your child has to be a partnership between home and school where there is an established bond of trust and support. This is something that we work hard to achieve, and my door is always open to parents, staff, prospective parents and of course our children. Behavioural Educational Services was established in 2000, and is now celebrating 13 years of home & school programme success, during which we have worked in partnership with families, local authorities, educational professionals, and national children's charities For the past 13 years, BES has provided CABAS® based early intensive interventions designed to increase the skills and abilities of children and young adults with special needs through the systematic use of applied behavioural analysis (ABA). ABA has a proven record of success with individuals with a diagnosis of autism and ADHD, as well as developmental, communication, and behavioural disorders. Early intensive intervention provides children with special needs the greatest possible chance at future mainstreaming, while also helping them achieve their highest intellectual, social and emotional potential. BES designs and supervises ABA home and school programmes that are based on theories of development and learning that focuses on variables that are observable, while also proposing a flexible research methodology that can benefit all children. Behaviour analysis benefits equally from its assessment methodologies, which emphasise factors that maintain or influence a child’s behaviour, as it does from its intervention procedures, which focus on the quality of implementation, effectiveness and social validity of the programme. In addition to our ABA work, BES are providers of Fast ForWord®, a learning acceleration programme based on over 30 years of neuroscience research, that helps develop the cognitive skills required to enhance learning. Strengthening these skills can result in a wide range of improved critical language and reading skills such as phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, decoding, working memory, syntax, grammar, and other skills necessary to learn how to read or to become a better reader. Fast ForWord® includes several training programmes that are individually adaptive and interactive computerised language-learning programmes that incorporate the latest neurological research in brain plasticity. These intensive, computerised programmes are designed to help leaners increase the rate at which their brains can process auditory information, which then enhances abilities in communication, reading, writing, and spelling.

Work Skills Learning was established in 2005. We teach children, young people and adult students in different settings. We enable them to develop new skills and achieve qualifications to secure their entry into the world of work. At Work Skills Learning all learners are valued as individuals, and we use innovative ideas and practices to maximise their potential. Children & Young People Aged 16 – 25: Work Skills Learning provides a range of educational opportunities for children and young people facing barriers to their education. Our provisions are co-educational and cater for those who may have special educational needs associated with communication and interaction, cognition and learning, and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Adult Learners: Work Skills Learning offers a variety of accredited courses for those looking to gain recognised skills qualifications acquired whilst working in their sector or for those just starting out on a new path. All courses aim to boost the confidence and improve the skills of course participants. Work Skills Learning works with a variety of partners on multiple sites across London. Our Past Work Skills Learning was founded in 2005 by Dayo Adeagbo. From 2000-2005 Dayo was the Head of Education at Feltham Young Offenders, responsible for providing education for children aged 11-17 and 18-21. In 2006 Work Skills Learning started providing academic and vocational courses for children and young adults. Another major development was our partnership with Hackney Learning Trust and The Urswick School, which continues to the present day, where we teach adult classes on Saturday mornings. Work Skills Learning has delivered a wide range of courses, to communities across Hackney. One of the most significant developments has been our work to train teaching assistants. Our Present We have extended our work with Local Authorities with the aim of helping as many children and young people as possible. We work closely with each child to ensure that they can play a full part in society and to give them the additional skills to move forward with their lives. We have facilities to deliver a wide curriculum from Entry Level to GCSE and beyond, as well as accredited skills-based courses, including an Arts & Crafts facility, music, design and ICT, all designed to give our students the best possible chance in gaining new qualifications. We are in our 10th year of delivering adult courses for individuals who wish to establish a career as a teaching assistant. This is offered to all schools, which enables us to train those who are already in the workforce, helping them to achieve career progression, using our specialism in SEN to support their learning. We have outstanding specialists who deliver the course with us. To date we have taught over 600 students, many of whom are now working in schools across London. This has been life changing for many of those who have studied with us.
