Founded and led by Emma Armstrong, A mother, doula and illustrator from Nottingham. Loosing her mother in 2019 to cancer whilst she was carrying her first child, Emma realised that more support and simplification needed to be given around birth, choices and informed consent. She trained as a Doula with Nurturing Birth & completed her Hypnobirthing training with Best-selling author Sophie Fletcher. The Naked Doula was born and has ever since been on a mission to revolutionise birth. To create evidence based, bite size tips and information for pregnancy, birth and postpartum so that parents can feel confident and informed on their journey! The Naked Doula represents informed choice, transparency and nakedness in the REAL delivery of information. Everyone should have the opportunity to feel excited about their birth, to celebrate it in all it’s glory. As a doula, Emma understands the importance of creating an inclusive community of which YOU can feel comfortable, connect with others & make the best decisions for you, however that may look & feel. Signposting you whilst offering a refreshing approach through fun yet informative illustrations! The Naked Doula loves to share easy ways for birth to be understood, as well as presenting solutions to every problem, capable of changing the way you see birth and making your journey a unique experience! Love Early Years (originally Ci2eye) is the mission statement of Christian Initiatives in Early Years Education, which is a UK based charity for those working in early years provision. It seeks to inspire, encourage and develop this important work from a Christian perspective. Ci2eye was set up by Ruth Andrews, a qualified early years teacher, who has a passion for seeing young children touched by the love of God. Ruth set about responding to a two-part vision. Firstly she led her local church in opening a pre-school to reach the young children in their community with a practical, real demonstration of the love of God. Secondly, she saw this initiative being transferred nationwide, encouraging Christians to grasp the opportunity to show the love of God in action amongst families with young children. Fulfilling the first part of the vision, Samuels Christian Nursery opened its doors in 1990, and it has gone on to be an example in the neighbourhood of high-quality care for young children. Ten years later, the second part of the vision began to emerge. After encouragement and support from a range of Christian organisations, Ci2eye was launched in 2003 at a joint conference with Care for Education . Ci2eye celebrated its 10th birthday in 2013 with a Celebration in which colleagues from Europe and the United States took part. In 2016 it was decided to refer to our ministry as Love Early Years rather than Ci2eye, because it refers to what we do rather than being an obscure acrostic.

Rosey is a RGN, Midwife (lapsed) and Health Visitor. She began her career in aesthetics in 2007 with The Hospital Group and latterly, Transform Medical Group. In 2011, she qualified as an Independent Nurse Prescriber (University of Wolverhampton) and opened her first beauty and aesthetic clinic in West Bridgford, Nottingham. She left the NHS in 2012 and Transform in 2016 with her clinical skills developing to Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. Rosey is Director of Pro Aesthetics Ltd and Pro Aesthetics Courses. Both aesthetic treatments and CPD Approved training courses for Doctors, Dentists and Nurses are offered from the Pro Aesthetics clinic in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Her passion for training and level of expertise was recognised whilst attending a course facilitated by Wigmore Medical, London when she was requested to assist the trainer! Rosey was immediately invited to join Wigmore’s esteemed panel of trainers responsible for courses in Introductory and Advanced Dermal Fillers for Doctors, Dentists and Nurses. She continues to facilitate PDO Thread training courses at Wigmore. Rosey has presented and demonstrated her clinical skills at the Wigmore Medical Open Day 2017 to an audience of 175 medical delegates and Aesthetic Medicine North. Rosey was invited to join the elite Allergan Medical Faculty as a Nurse Trainer/ Ambassador in 2017 and has led Allergan’s 5 : 1 training programmes for the Introduction to Leaders and Visionary Codes throughout the UK. She believes learning should be an interactive, supportive process whereby both trainer and delegate gain from the experience. She recognises the importance of continually developing clinical skills with the safest techniques whilst emphasising the consultation and assessment process. Past delegates have greatly appreciated her corporate background in assisting them with the Consultation process within smaller clinics. This aspect of a client’s journey is often neglected in clinical training.

Having watched her parents’ heartache as her older brother suffered tragically under the effects of extreme bullying from a young age, and the dependency that this created in him, Jill determined early in life to be completely independent – a burden to no one and reliant on nobody. This led to unrealistic perfectionistic tendencies and incredible pressure during her twenties. It was not until Jill was in her thirties that she was able to make the paradigm shift to be free of the intensity of perfectionism, leaning into the wisdom of Psalm 138: Psalm 138:8 (AMPC) 8 The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, endure forever—forsake not the works of Your own hands. What a relief it is to realise that it is the Lord who perfects, not us!!! We can only truly please God by having faith in Him, not by how perfect we try to be. Jesus finished all, accomplished all, at the cross, so that now, as the writer of Hebrews declared, we can “fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favour to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].” (Hebrews 4:16Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)) Both Terry & Jill are ordained by RMI and hold RMI Ministerial Association.
