TEFL+ Proficiency is also especially useful for you if you want to know why so many English language "rules" you learned in school don't apply when you come to actually using the language in real-life contexts. The course is based on my own application of Systemic-Funcional Linguistics to the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in my own language classrooms over 40+ years of teaching.
The course is hands-on, and you learn the theory through collaborative/interactive practice in a supportive yet challenging learning environment. Unlike in traditional courses, you also learn through interaction with me as we analyse texts to learn techniques of reading and writing and then apply those together as we co-write our own texts collaboratively onscreen.
There is an integrated self-study component that means you can continue to learn between class sessions, thereby maximising learning and minimising cost. Places are limited to 4 participants per course, so sign up early to book your place.&nbsp;

Our CITB Online - Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Refresher course is designed to give attendees a broad reminder of their responsibilities for health and safety on construction sites. Approved and endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group, the SSSTS refresher course is a must for anyone who occupies a supervisory role on UKCG sites and wants to brush up on their knowledge of their legal responsibilities and the latest construction industry regulations.
The SSSTS Refresher course has been created to provide existing supervisors, or those who are just entering into a supervisory role, with in-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and procedures. If a candidate completed a full SSSTS training course up to 5 years ago, they will be required to attend a refresher programme.
Prerequisites
SSSTS certificates are of course valid for up to 5 years, but due to the ever-changing nature of the industry, it is recommended that staff stay up to date by enrolling on a refresher course long before the qualification expires.

This certification for this course is valid for 5 years and is endorsed by Build UK as a standard training for all operatives. The certificate is part of CSCS Green Card requirements.
To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date or have completed an NVQ2 or higher in your skills set.

How do I attend?

EITHER -
CLASSROOM OPTION - Attend one of our scheduled classroom locations, completing your Introduction to Phlebotomy Course over 2 days. You will also complete your Advanced Training at the end of the first day and your Competency Training at the end of the second day.

Our Introduction to Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy Training Kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available to add at time of booking. Our comprehensive training kits each mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video tutorials, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for a one day Zoom session to complete your Introduction to Phlebotomy virtual classroom training, followed by your Advanced Training in the evening of the same day. You have the option to add a classroom-based competency session, awarding a CPD Accredited Geopace Certificate of Competency, at time of booking.

Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your introductory course and one for your advanced course. This five-day course is a must for anyone who is considering or already working in a role with site manager responsibilities. This course covers all relevant legislation affecting safe working in the building, construction, and civil engineering industries.

Prerequisites
This course is for you if you’re considering, or already have management responsibilities for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff e.g. site manager.
Assessment
At the end of this course, all delegates will have a clear understanding of controlling health and safety on site from a manager’s role.
Certificate
The certification for this course is valid for 5 years and is endorsed by Build UK as a standard training for all site managers.
To remain certified in this area, you will need to take a refresher course before the expiry date on your certificate, otherwise the full course will need to be retaken.
