This NEW course combines the QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) with QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) giving you 2 courses in one. Instead of 12 hours to gain 2 qualifications it is combined into 1 extended day (7 hrs approx) This is the ideal course those working with children and adults in any environment eg: Sports clubs, community groups, Schools Individuals can book at £102.00 per person on an 'Open' course at our training Centre in Newtownards. EFAW + SPORT This Emergency First Aid at Work course + Sport meets all the requirements of Category B trained staff for sports in accordance with United Kingdom Athletics. Ideal for coaches in sports (Hurley, Football, Gymnastics, Running clubs etc) The addition subjects of the Sport module are CPR for Children, climate considerations, sprains, strains and fractures specifically designed for personnel without immediate access to Pre hospital care. During this 1 day course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, using an AED, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries.

Learners will develop knowledge from the FD&FA foundation BS 5839-1 module and/or industry experience and apply this to the installation of FD&FA systems.

Learners will develop knowledge from the FD&FA foundation module and/or industry experience and apply this to the commissioning, handover, and acceptance of FD&FA systems.

At the end of the 5 days, Learners will attain an RQF Award in the requirements of FD&FA systems for non-domestic buildings BS 5839-1: 2017.
