We employ a number of instructors who are approved by MHFA England to deliver adult Mental Health First Aid, Champion and Awareness courses as well as Youth Mental Health First Aid. Our aims: To facilitate drama workshops in schools focusing on well being and mental health, focusing on resilience, well being, and confidence. Working alongside communities all over the UK to facilitate creative workshops to promote unity, integration and to celebrate collective heritage. Adult Mental Health First Aid Training Teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue. Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Teaches people the skills and confidence to spot the signs of mental health issues in a young person and support them. Suicide Prevention Learn the theory and practice of suicide intervention skills that can be applied in any professional or personal setting. KUF Awareness Level Training (Personality Disorders) Learn the underpinning knowledge and understanding required to work with service users with a personality disorder. Deaf Awareness Training A 3-hour deaf awareness course will enable learners to be more deaf aware. It will teach you about different types of hearing loss. Recovery Journey Recovery Journey is a 1-hour talk about the life of Catherine through mental health services. Dementia Friends Workshop A Dementia Friend is somebody that learns about dementia so they can help their community.

A standard set of hygiene measures remain in place on all our first aid courses and we can accommodate workplace specific hygiene requirements on private courses where we send a trainer to your premises. React First has a full schedule of public first aid courses across Central London for individuals to attend. All our courses give a first aid, including CPR, certificate which is valid for 3 years. All CPR is taught using the up to date UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines (2021). We are offering both in-person and telehealth (secure videoconference) assessment and therapy services. Our office staff will talk with clients about which option may work best for them. Commitment to Anti-Racism: The MU Psychological Services Clinic (PSC) and Center for Evidence-Based Youth Mental Health (CEBYMH) are outraged and saddened by the multiple occurrences of police brutality and injustice against Black and Brown communities (Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Michael Brown, and too many others). These are the result of long-standing structurally racist systems that devalue Black and Brown lives. The disproportionate impact of these inequities is felt not only in the justice system, but also in education, medicine, and mental health care. As psychology providers, we believe that the ultimate manner by which to heal racial trauma is for individuals and the systems within which they work to recognize and eliminate explicit and implicit bias, prejudice, racism, and discrimination. However, at this time, many Black and Brown individuals have already experienced and will continue to experience racial trauma. Our clinic is committed to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for these individuals.
