I have 30 years practice experience of yoga, movement and process work, and 20 years of teaching practice in the field of bodywork, in particular Yoga. I started practicing Iyengar in 1991 and teaching Iyengar Yoga full-time in 2000. After becaming an Introductory Iyengar Yoga teacher in 2001, I practiced and moved through various levels of qualifications and certifications over years of examinations, til reaching what is the current Level 3 and mentor level (senior)in the Iyengar system in 2020. I have been teaching full-time for 22 years and practiced for over 30. Over the years I studied with several Senior Iyengar teachers all over the world, as well as the Iyengar family in Pune, and completed a three years course on how to work remedially in a general yoga class. I have been supporting clients one to one with remedial yoga since 2007. My main inspirations in Yoga are two great teachers I was fortunate enough to meet on my way, called Firooza Ali Razvi and Christian Pisano.

Now, more than ever we need to get out in nature, to connect with our natural environment and with each other to let the healing process begin. We have been helping people of all ages to find their wild since 2018 with past activities and events including after school clubs, home-schooling club and women’s bushcraft groups In 2021, we are over the moon to be working on new projects and building on our new partnerships to support mental health and well-being and we are working towards a project focussing on rewilding, conservation and stewardship in our community. Find Your Wild activities are fully risk assessed and carried out under the supervision of qualified level 3 Forest School leaders and outdoor first aid trained staff. My name is Paula, I am the founder of Be.well. I am a 200 hours Certified Yoga Teacher trained in Vinyasa yoga (YogaUnion) and Yin Yoga (Anjali). I have been a yoga student since 2016 and a teacher since 2020. I have a Level 3 VTCT Diploma in Massage Therapy from White Rose Beauty College in Derby and additional certificates in Pregnancy Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Acupressure Massage from Gateway Workshops. I am a certified Meditation Teacher (The Priority Academy) and have practiced and taught meditation from different lineages and methods, as well as writing my own meditation scripts to access the specific areas of the mind and help my clients in the way that is most suitable for them.
