A two day sewing workshop for intermediate dressmakers to create a pair of dungarees which has a couple of different style options. Full help is on hand to understand the pattern, cut out and assemble your dungarees. Bring your own machine or borrow one from Stitching Kitchen.

Take a one day or weekend Masterclass with Internationally renowned quilt artist Bethan Ash at Queen Street Gallery studio.

Masterful use of shape can take your work to new heights, add vitality and energy to your work with improvised free cut shapes is the goal of this workshop. Exercises will focus on sharpening your awareness of the role shape can play in your work. Ideas will be developed by using fused fabric studies. Fabric compositions will be developed using piecing and raw edge fused collage. Learn to use shape and colour confidently by fusing, appliqueing, piecing or stitching them to add movement and direction to your work. Working with a variety of shapes you will learn how to add a new graphic quality by stitching or overlapping colour to make an individual free-form composition.  You may choose to work by hand or machine or both.

Join textile artist Tilly Tea Dance for a one day creative workshop. Using a barbed needle to fuse different fibres together you’ll learn how to use needle-felting and hand embroidery to create a stunning and one-off piece of artwork. No experience is necessary as Maxine will guide us all the way so you can take home a piece of work to be proud of. This is always a popular workshop so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
