In this session, we’ll explore how conscious breathing can help reduce stress and bring calm into any moment of the day. Through three simple steps, you’ll learn how to reconnect with your breath, soothe your nervous system, and release accumulated tension in the body. This practice is ideal for those new to breathwork as well as those looking to deepen their ability to manage stress naturally and effectively. This class is spondsored by the Lottery Community Fund, Awards for All and run by David Palacios from Essence Scotland, breathwork instructor and more. By attending this class you release the teacher, Giada Gaslini and Art and Spirituality Cic, from any liability arising out of any personal injuries, emotional or physical release, death, expectations of results, theft in the venue or damages that may happen to people and objects while attending.

No prior knowledge or skills are required.  What is included:  Instructions and guidance by our team members Sculpting kit and tools A variety of flowers and greenery to choose from for your creative imprints Floral lemonade and light refreshments Fun and relaxing start to your weekend It is a small class so we can pay attention and guide you all the way through the class. We will fire your pieces and they will be ready for collection in about three weeks after the class.

Hello all you interested crocheters out there! Hungry for a new crochet stitch to take your crochet to the next level? Come and join us here at Stitch! and learn mosaic crochet with the wonderful Kay Dudman. This is a technique that gives you the opportunity to use two different colours without changing wool. You can create beautiful geometric designs with whatever colour combinations you like. During this workshop you will be covering inset and overlay mosaic techniques. You will be working on a panel learning the these basic techniques that you can continue at home to make a blanket or you can incorporate it into other projects. (Please note that this is not a beginners crochet class you are required to know the basic stitches for crochet.) Avid beginners looking for new crochet variations- come and enjoy! Join textile artist Tilly Tea Dance for a one day creative workshop. Using a barbed needle to fuse different fibres together you’ll learn how to use needle-felting and hand embroidery to create a stunning and one-off piece of artwork. No experience is necessary as Maxine will guide us all the way so you can take home a piece of work to be proud of. This is always a popular workshop so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Create your own enchanted woodland toadstool with expert needle felt artist Gretel Parker. Little hanging toadstools are the perfect Autumn decoration, or get ready for Christmas by making a festive one for your tree. All wools and extra materials are supplied, as are tools for use on the day. Gretel is the author of ‘Little Needle-Felted Animals’ published by Harper Collins and has a forthcoming book coming out later in the year ‘Decorative Needlefelting – 20 Seasonal Projects for the Home’ published by White Owl Publishing.

Together we’ll spend the day learning the different techniques and ways of weaving to get the best from this natural material, creating a fat ball feeder to delight the birds in your garden. These feeders are a great way to watch the birds as they find all kinds of ways to enjoy their tasty treat, suitable for small and large birds to feed together, this is a workshop that definitely brings joy to your garden.
