'You Touched My Heart' Appliqué class is a great introduction to raw edge appliqué, quilting, adding a flange and top stitching. For the cushion, you'll be adding a zip. This doesn't have to be scary

We would like to welcome you to a creative Saturday afternoon with our team and hand build up to three pieces in our creative studio in Angel. No prior knowledge or skills are required.  What is included:  Instructions and guidance by our team members Sculpting kit and tools A variety of flowers and greenery to choose from for your creative imprints Glass of bubbly or floral lemonade and light refreshments Fun and relaxing start to your weekend It is a small class so we can pay attention and guide you all the way through the class. We will fire your pieces and they will be ready for collection in about three weeks after the class.

Hello all you interested crocheters out there! Hungry for a new crochet stitch to take your crochet to the next level? Come and join us here at Stitch! and learn mosaic crochet with the wonderful Kay Dudman. This is a technique that gives you the opportunity to use two different colours without changing wool. You can create beautiful geometric designs with whatever colour combinations you like. During this workshop you will be covering inset and overlay mosaic techniques. You will be working on a panel learning the these basic techniques that you can continue at home to make a blanket or you can incorporate it into other projects. (Please note that this is not a beginners crochet class you are required to know the basic stitches for crochet.) Avid beginners looking for new crochet variations- come and enjoy! Join textile artist Tilly Tea Dance for a one day creative workshop. Using a barbed needle to fuse different fibres together you’ll learn how to use needle-felting and hand embroidery to create a stunning and one-off piece of artwork. No experience is necessary as Maxine will guide us all the way so you can take home a piece of work to be proud of.
