CANDLE MAKING WORKSHOP

Description

Join us for a wonderful experience and create your own customised, scented candle from scratch decorated with gorgeous, dried flowers.  As a exclusive you will be taught how to dry and press your own flowers using both traditional and new techniques for future crafts.   There is also a Festive Option, where you will decorate your candle with dried oranges, cloves and other seasonal decorations.  

Using a  soy wax blend which is more environmentally friendly, You will be taken  through each step on how to make your candle from scratch.  

Each beginner friendly  workshop will contain

• An introduction to candle making : Using a soy blend this will ensure your wax does not crystalise.  It will also hold the scent better.
• Scent personality:   You will be able to choose your fragrance from a range of beautiful options.
• Candle preparation and decoration with dried flowers   You will be guided on best to decorate your container with helpful tips on how to press and dry flowers for future projects.
• Mixing & pouring:  You will be shown how to pour the wax to prevent cracking 
• Finishing touches for that professional finish

With this new found knowledge you will have the confidence to create your own candles for your home as well as a making beautiful personalised gifts for friends and family.
