This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively, for casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing and administering it. This course is suitable for qualified First Aiders, Emergency First Aiders, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses, healthcare professionals and others working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualty welfare.

Immediate Life Support One Day Course Cost:  £95+ vat Maximum 6 people This course includes the latest CPR and Coronavirus recommendations. This ILS training course is designed to meet the requirements of ILS training laid down by UK Resus Council guidelines and is certified by ProTrainings. The aim is to train healthcare personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, simple airway management and safe defibrillation, enabling them to manage patients in cardiac arrest until the arrival of a cardiac arrest team and to participate as team members. The course is run over one day and consists of lectures and practical sessions. LEARNING CONTENT Learning content in this ILS and AED Training Course goes above and beyond BLS training with this immediate Life Support (ILS) Course, learning much more about the Human Body. The aim of this ILS and AED course is to: Understand basic life support requirements. Be able to demonstrate post-resuscitation procedures. Be able to carry out basic user maintenance and troubleshooting AED. Understand the safe use of an AED. Understand medical emergencies. These workshops are designed for healthcare professionals who must be equipped to deal with life-threatening emergencies. Our ILS workshops are interactive, engaging, and hands-on. Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults One Day Course Cost:  £65 + vat per person This course promotes awareness and sensitivity to Safeguarding, enabling learners to identify the types and characteristics of abuse, record disclosure and appropriately share information with the relevant people. Safeguarding is how we can protect children, young people and vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect by the actions, or lack of actions, of another person. In order to Safeguard and Protect Persons from abuse or neglect we need to learn how to identify vulnerable individuals and take necessary steps to stop abuse and neglect. SYLLABUS A range of subjects is covered including: Making judgements Communication Roles and responsibilities Sharing information Dealing with and reporting of allegations and complaints AGE RESTRICTIONS Learners must be minimum of 18 years of age upon course commencement.  COURSE NUMBERS A maximum of 12 learners can be accommodated on this course. CERTIFICATION Upon successful completion of the qualification assessment, learners will be awarded an Ofqual regulated qualification. Awareness of Safeguarding Safeguarding • Adults & Children at Risk Our Safeguarding Workshops cover a variety of topics, including identifying signs of abuse or neglect, understanding legal responsibilities related to safeguarding, and implementing effective strategies for preventing harm. These Workshops are led by experienced Trainers who have extensive knowledge in the field of Safeguarding. They are designed to provide Healthcare Professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to protect vulnerable individuals in their care. The Workshops are highly interactive, providing participants with plenty of opportunities to engage in discussions, ask questions, and practice new skills. We believe that this hands-on approach enhances learning and helps participants apply what they’ve learned in real-world situations. Course: Four Hours Cost:  £45 + vat per person Awareness of Safeguarding Qualification will provide an understanding of Safeguarding which can be used in a workplace, activity group or any instance where a person comes into contact with children or adults at risk. The Qualification provides learners with the knowledge to identify a Safeguarding concern, record a disclosure and report to the appropriate person. The qualification does not have an expiry date, but refresher training and keeping up-to-date with changes to policies, procedures and new legislation through ongoing CPD is vital.
