The staff at Sol Attendance have been so supportive and knowledgeable about all things to do with attendance and I have found them to be excellent value for money. Across our 22 primary academies, we have had several who have struggled with below average attendance over a number of years. By implementing the Sol system of attendance tracking, coupled with their expert advice and monitoring visits, we have managed to significantly improve attendance at these academies. Indeed, in more than one Ofsted inspection recently, the improvement in attendance has been commented on very positively by inspectors. Estudiantes is a sport-for-development club based in Haringey, London. Estudiantes was an idea before it was a club. That idea being that educational excellence and social mobility could be achieved via the medium of sport; that a committment to striving for excellence in sport could drive excellence in life. The bedrock of the club is education. This has seen attendance of participants at the local college with which the club has ties increased from 76 to over 94% while delivering more than 40 hours of football/futsal a month to those whose attendance to class met the threshold set by the club. Participants in the program also receive 1 to 1 English and Maths tuition to help them achieve their potential.

In partnership with Brent Council, we are very excited to announce SAY Adventure, a free 4-month programme accessible to all young people from Brent between the ages of 12-19! SAY Adventure consists of empowering workshops delivered by qualified facilitators from diverse communities and professions, including teaching, medicine, leadership coaching, business ownership, media broadcasting and youth work. There will be a focus on developing young people’s identity, belonging and sense of cultural competency as a way of increasing their confidence in carving out a future in modern multicultural Brent and Britain. SAY Adventure will also be an opportunity to get to know other young people in the community and ultimately have fun, with free lunch provided to those in attendance.
