Pediatric First Aid Course
This Pediatric First Aid (PFA) course is specifically designed to meet the needs of those working in childcare settings, including childminders, carers, and educators. This course meets and exceeds the regulatory requirements set by EYFS, CSSIW, and SureStart, making it ideal for anyone needing a 2-day, 12-contact-hour qualification. The course covers essential first aid skills required for caring for infants and children, including CPR, choking management, injury care, and the treatment of medical emergencies.

On request we offer group bookings for up to 6 people at £160 per person, or for groups of up to 12 at £140 per person. Training can be delivered either at your location or at one of our training venues in Peterborough or Ely.

Course Overview
This course provides a comprehensive understanding of how to handle emergency situations involving infants and children. It includes the latest guidelines from the UK Resuscitation Council and HSE, and is independently certified to conform to CPD standards. Participants can choose between a full classroom course or a blended learning option, where online video training is completed before attending a practical one-day classroom session.

Are you are looking for something a little different from the usual portraits, or pet portraits?
You’ve come to the right place!
You can commission a slightly quirky portrait painted in oils and acrylics as well as sketches that will capture the special qualities of the sitter or of your pet.
The Wyllie Fox can magically transform your photographs and find a suitable painting method, in the style of old masters such as Rembrandt, Goya, Impressionist Artists, Manet, Van Gogh ….
Using traditional techniques in oils or acrylic paint the Wyllie Fox will portray the personality of your human pet. You will have an original pet portrait of your best friend to take pride of place in your home.
If you would prefer a person or pet portrait sketch, do view the examples above. These sketches are hand drawn using an IPad and pencil with Digital Drawing software. They will be printed using Bockingford paper and will include a cream coloured mount. You can order a sketch of your pet from as little as £75.
Do you need the painting to fit in with your interior style or colour scheme? Just let us know and send in a photo of the intended wall space when you receive the commissioning form.

Commissioning a Pet or Human Portrait in Oils or Acrylics FAQ’s
What do you need from me?
Initially, just fill in the form below to discuss your requirements. You will then receive a commissioning request form by email.
You can then send your Human / Pet’s Photographs and tell us more about your about their personality, history and anything you feel is relevant to the painting, such as size, paint medium or painting surface.
Commissioning a portrait is a two way process. It would be helpful if you can describe some of the things he or she likes to do, wear or favourite objects or environment. One or two photographs will be required. The backgrounds aren’t as important as seeing the person or pet clearly and in detail. A photo looking straight at the camera will usually work best. Your photographs and the description you give will inspire the Wyllie Fox. She will then get to work on how best to portray their.
Will I be kept updated with the progress?
Yes. You will receive an initial rough sketch sent by email which will also show the setting and background. You may also be shown reference photographs to illustrate the style of painting. If you’re happy to proceed you will be asked to confirm this before the portrait painting is started.
You will receive regular updates on the painting’s progression and you will have opportunities to provide feedback.
Portrait Estimates:
Oil or Acrylic on Canvas:
An A3 sized painting on canvas with one person / pet – £495
An A2 sized painting on a custom made panel or on canvas – £645
Portrait Sketches
A mounted A4 sized print of a digital drawing – starting from £75.
Should you require a framed print, you can request a quote for this when you send back a commissioning form.
Other sizes are available and can be requested.
These estimates are for one pet or one person. Actual quotes will be given for your commission depending on the complexity and size.
Payment schedule
For oil or acrylic paintings an initial payment of £30 will be required to cover the initial rough sketch for the final painting and also for research time. This initial payment will be refunded from the final fee should you agree to go ahead with the commission. The fee will be discussed with you (see estimates above), and will be based on the complexity and size of the artwork.
On agreeing the rough sketch, proposal and fees, a 50% deposit of the total amount (including delivery charges) is required before the portrait is started.
On completion, the remaining balance will be due. Your painting will be delivered when the final payment is received.
Will I own the Copyright of the portrait?
No. The Artist Francesca Wyllie (also known as The Wyllie Fox) reserves all rights. You should not reproduce the original painting as this will breach the Artists’ copyright. If you wish to purchase the copyright this must me discussed and will incur an additional fee.
Mainland Postage to UK:
Oil or acrylic Paintings – £15 signed for (insured) courier.
Mounted Sketches – £8.99 signed first class post.
Posting quotes will be given for areas outside of Mainland UK
How long will my portrait take?
Your painting will normally take between 1 – 3 weeks to complete. However, the deadline will be agreed with you before the commission is started.
Please also bear in mind that an original portrait which has been painted in oils can take a while to dry so should be handled carefully and will normally be sent one week after completion.
If you would prefer a painting in acrylics please specify this as this can be posted almost immediately.

What is the AM2 assessment? The AM2 assessment is an industry recognised trade test designed to evidence that candidates have gained all relevant and safety-critical competencies during their training process. It provides a single standard that has been agreed upon by employers within the electrical industry, giving a reliable and trusted guarantee of safe, high-quality skills for the electrotechnical industry. Who is this for? This is aimed at apprentices who are coming to the end of their training for the JIB apprentice training scheme and the Installation of modern apprenticeships. This course is also for experienced electricians, specifically those who are looking at taking the experienced worker route (AM2E.) There are a range of assessments for candidates based on their level: AM2 – This is for candidates undertaking the JIB mature candidate assessments and those following the level three NVQ who isn’t an apprentice. AM2S – This is for electrotechnical apprentices who are training against the apprenticeship standard AM2E – This is for experienced workers who are completing the experienced worker assessment. Please note: this can only be taken once you have gained the experienced worker qualification, proof must be provided before booking the AM2 assessment. What does this assessment consist of? Overall, the AM2 is an in-depth assessment carrying out tasks to show what you have learnt on your training. It is a practical assessment with five sections (six for AM2E and AM2S) and a short online component. Candidates will be expected to install, connect, terminate, inspect, test, commission and diagnose faults, following installation specifications provided and any relevant statutory and non-statutory regulations on: A three-phase distribution board and subcircuit A central heating/sustainable energy system Lighting and power circuits A data cabling system A safety services circuit and device Installation of containment systems (AM2E and AM2S only) Candidates will complete timed tasks in equipped areas that contain typical electrical installation wiring systems – all work must comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations, industry best practice, and meet the requirements of relevant health and safety legislation. The assessment will be carried out in strict exam conditions across 2.5 days. Do I need an AM2 certificate to work as an electrician? Apprentices must pass their AM2 test in their final year to complete their apprenticeship. Also, if the apprenticeship standard is not being followed, an AM2 certificate and a level three NVQ is required to gain a gold card. If you are already working as an electrician, you will not need an AM2 certificate. If you are training to be an electrician and are registering for your NVQ level three in Electrical Installation or Maintenance, the electrotechnical diploma now includes the AM2. City &amp; Guilds 2392 10 level 2 is a short course aimed at newcomers to inspection and testing of electrical installations, and also the logical route towards 2391-50, 2391-51, or 2391-52. City &amp; Guilds 2392 10 level 2 Certification is achieved on successful completion of both the practical assessment and PC based examination. A four day course for a student possessing a working knowledge of the wiring regulations, to the level of City and Guilds 2382. We strongly recommend City and Guilds 2382 is achieved prior to sitting this City &amp; Guilds 2392 10 level 2 course, though this is NOT an entry requirement. The City &amp; Guilds 2392 10 level 2 exam is a PC based multiple choice examination has 50 questions, is 1 hour 40 mins long and is closed book, with instant result. To further support this City &amp; Guilds 2392 10 level 2 course, we offer a 1 day practical workshop available to candidates who have completed the course and require further ‘hands on’ practical experience prior to their practical examination. Most students who take this option, elect to complete this the day before their practical assessment. The practical assessment takes approximately 2 hours, this can, if available, be taken on the day following the on-line examination or at a later date at a time which is mutually convenient to both student and centre. C&G 2392-10 – Level 2 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification

The City and Guilds 2391-50 electrical course has been designed to meet the needs of the electrical installation industry, and is aimed at practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training before going on to other City and Guilds qualifications. Candidates who achieve the City and Guilds 2391-50 qualification could progress on to the City and Guilds 2391-51: the Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations. The City and Guilds 2391-50 course will focus on the teaching and learning of initial verification and certification of electrical installations. In order to claim the full City and Guilds 2391-50 qualification, students must successfully complete: One 1 hour 30 minute online multiple choice test to be completed during the courseOne 3 hour 30 minute practical test to be completed after the course, broken into two sections as follows:Task A – Initial Verification and Certification of the Complete Installation – 2hrs and 30minsTask B – Short Answer Questions – 1hr To further support this course, we offer a 1 day practical workshop (at the cost of £120.00 Net VAT) available to candidates who have completed the course and require further ‘hands on’ practical experience prior to their practical exam.
