BalletDots is for pre-schoolers (3yrs+). (5-7yrs) The syllabus is based on the ISTD grade however we do also incorporate an imaginative playful approach to the work to keep the Ballet fun. All technique can be boring and we don't want that! (8-10yrs) Tap uses a different skill set to Ballet and Jazz as the emphasise is on creating rhythm and sound using footwork. Due to the nature of Tap, the physicality of the work is mainly focused on the legs, hips, knees and ankles and of course those tapping feet! Tap teaches a great sense of rhythm, timing and musical awareness. (4-6yrs) Mini Movers is an introduction to more structured ballet dance and movement based class. The session includes Ballet and an introduction to JazzPops. (5-8yrs) Using a range of music from the latest pop songs to great musical theatre songs (old and new!) JazzPops offers a range of dance throughout the term with a dash of some musical games. Technical singing lessons tailored to the individual's needs and requests. This can cover fixing vocal issues or obstacles, developing and broadening technique and understanding how the voice works for all genres of music and singing styles. I utilise the Estill Model in my teaching as well as training and experience working with various singing teachers throughout the industry.
