All the materials are provided and we'll give you all the tools you need to make sure you walk away with some beautiful silver clay pieces you can be proud of. This workshop is full of new exciting processes for you and your students—you won't want to miss it! We know that teachers are busy people who want to do more than just show up for lessons every day. Are you interested in learning how to make polymer clay jewellery? Join us for a fun and informative workshop that will teach you everything you need to know about conditioning the clay, texturing, cutting, shaping the clay, forming and moulding. You'll create a range of finished jewellery pieces that you can take home with you afterwards. This is a great way to learn some new skills and explore a wide variety of style and techniques that are easy enough for beginners but also have room for more advanced learners!

In this exciting, educational and intriguing full day sea glass course, you will be shown how to make your own solid silver jewellery pieces incorporating sea glass and take away your own unique pieces to wear and treasure or as gifts for loved ones.

One day silver clay workshop in Market Bosworth you will make 3 to 5 solid silver jewellery pieces taught by a fully qualified metal clay artist. Come and have fun learning the magic of Silver Metal Clay. Silver clay is a recycled product which when fired becomes solid silver and is Hallmark quality. The best thing is it requires few tools so makes a great new hobby. A workshop for beginners or experienced jewellers, you will learn how to: Roll and pattern clay Cut shapes and create moulds Sand , drill and prepare your piece for firing Fire and polish add patinas and add findings so your solid silver jewellery is ready to wear.

This workshop is open to beginners as well as intermediate-level students, so you can take your time and learn at your own pace. You'll be guided through all the steps of making jewellery from scratch, so you'll leave feeling confident in your skills whatever level you work at. The week is designed around you and you needs and aims. We'll have everything on hand that you need, including the silver clay and tools. We even provide the accommodation and endless tea and coffee to keep you refreshed throughout the retreat. The week will be an immersive experience that helps you feel like part of our family here at Gifted Crafts.

You will be having fun in this beginner’s class! Learn how to create colourful polymer clay pendants and take home your handmade unique necklace.

Figurative Sculpture In this day long course we will explore all aspects of creating a life size clay sculpture of a characterful human face. We will also start to explore the creation of a ‘beautiful’ face that you will be able to take home to finish… it can take many hours to complete something as complex. We will be using a special armature unique to the Sculpture Workshop and a wonderfully forgiving specialist clay. We’ll explore how expression and emotion manifest on the face. This workshop is great fun and light hearted, we don’t use jargon or judgement, anyone of any ability can join us and have a brilliant time engaging with their own creative potential.

A three hour slab-building pottery workshop, using stoneware clays to make mess and memories. And Pots! Come play with Clay!

Come and have a fun filled day creating your own beautiful bangle. You will get to create a bangle from sterling silver. Then using silver clay you will design and make a lovely, unique charm to adorn your bracelet. You will get to take these away at the end of the course to wear and treasure, or as a gift for a loved one.

At Clay With Carole we offer group classes for all ages and abilities in hand building in clay. During this thorough and enjoyable 6-week evening course you will learn how to prepare your clay, and the main methods of hand building. You will be introduced to a variety of decorating techniques, ceramic materials and glazing. Each week you will make your original pieces using a different technique of hand building and through the duration of the course you can experiment with decorating techniques, application of ceramic materials, and a range of glazes.
