Join me in the studio for a Quilting Skill Builder class. &nbsp;This class is held over three days.This class is perfect for anyone who is new to patchwork and quilting, or who would like to build on the skills they already have. &nbsp;The quilt is made up of twelve blocks, starting with a block made up of one piece and gradually building up to a block with twelve pieces of fabric. &nbsp;You will not only piece the quilt, but you will also get to do the quilting and binding. Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. You'll get to work with recycled plastic waste collected from the local community, giving you a hands-on experience in upcycling. Not only will you have the opportunity to create something beautiful, but you'll also be making a positive impact on the planet by reducing plastic pollution. 
During the workshop, you'll get to use all three machines and leave with a handmade souvenir of your choice. Whether it's a keychain turtle, hexagonal coaster, or soap dish, the possibilities are endless. Creativity is the limit!

We believe that art can be both beautiful and sustainable. By taking part in our workshops, you'll not only learn a new skill, but also gain knowledge about the importance of sustainability in our daily lives. Plus, it's a fun and educational way to spend time with friends or family!

BRCGS Internal Auditor (2 Days)

This official BRCGS course enables participants with an in-depth understanding of the Standard in terms of the protocol, requirements and how to audit effectively. Participants will gain competency to assess compliance to the requirements of the Standard, including fundamental clauses, statements of intent, how to undertake a BRCGS audit, planning of the audit and reporting of the audit. Course Summary

This official BRCGS Food Safety issue 9 Lead Auditor course enables participants with an in-depth understanding of the Standard in terms of the protocol, requirements and how to audit effectively. Participants will gain competency to assess compliance to the requirements of the Standard, including fundamental clauses, statements of intent, how to undertake a BRCGS audit, planning of the audit and reporting of the audit. Join us for a FREE Tea 'N Chat with NICKY SIMPSON who will demo and lead a mini workshop on Surface textiles and talk about her online courses.

Nicky's aim is to show how easily accessible surface textiles techniques can be for every level of student and how it can be delivered in a fun and engaging way.
She will also introduce you to her online and face-2-face courses with an opportunity to ask questions.




JOIN IN THE FUN:

'Marbling'
Marbling is great way of introducing a quick and easy surface technique if you have little to no prior experience. Especially good for students who will get immediate exciting and inspiring results.!
A beginner friendly workshop to produce great artwork for textile projects.

If you want to join in you will need: 
tray of cold water (min 5cm deep)
oil paint 2 colours
white spirit
glass jar and brush to mix/have a cloth for spills and a table cover
pipette 
paper or fabric to marble
