Learn how to use horse behaviour science to enhance your horse's wellbeing. By making simple additions to the horse's environment (enrichment), you can mimic the horse's natural habitat and expand the range of behaviours they can engage in.

The Emergency Fist Aid at Work is an accredited 1 day, instructor led course in a fully equipped training room. We use a mixture of training methods such as hands on activities, role play, group discussion, games and the use of equipment / technology to cover the different learning styles of the individual. All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. A range of subjects are covered including:- • Responsibilities and reporting • Resuscitation and AED awareness • Burns • Assessment of the situation • Anatomy • Choking • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty • Minor injuries • Epilepsy • Basic hygiene in First Aid • Bleeding control • Shock Certification Practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor, and a three year qualification will be issued to those who satisfy the criteria. In addition, the HSE strongly recommend that all students undergo an annual refresher programme of three hours. Instructions Please can learners ensure they wear trousers and a full shoe. Learners need to be physically fit and well to undertake the activities for First Aid Training, which requires learners to carryout CPR on the floor. Determine the number of cameras needed and their types (e.g., dome, bullet, PTZ) based on the coverage required and environmental conditions. Plan the placement of cameras considering factors like lighting conditions, obstructions, and the angle of view required. Selecting Equipment: Choose high-quality CCTV cameras and other necessary equipment such as DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) or NVRs (Network Video Recorders), cables, connectors, power supplies, and storage devices. Ensure compatibility between cameras and recording devices. Consider features like resolution, night vision capability, and weather resistance. Mounting Cameras: Install cameras at the planned locations using appropriate mounting brackets or housings. Ensure cameras are securely fixed to prevent tampering or theft. Adjust the angle and direction of each camera to cover the desired area effectively. Running Cables: Plan the route for cables connecting cameras to the recording device. Use weatherproof cables suitable for outdoor installation. Conceal cables where possible to prevent tampering and maintain aesthetics. Connecting Components: Connect cameras to the DVR/NVR using appropriate cables and connectors. Ensure proper power supply to cameras and recording devices. Configure network settings if using an IP-based CCTV system for remote viewing. Configuring Settings: Access the DVR/NVR interface and configure settings such as recording schedule, motion detection, and video quality. Set up user accounts and passwords to restrict access to the system. Test the system to ensure cameras are capturing footage and recording properly. Remote Viewing (Optional): Set up remote viewing capabilities to access live or recorded footage from smartphones, tablets, or computers. Configure port forwarding on your router if accessing the system from outside the local network. Install and configure the necessary software or mobile apps provided by the CCTV system manufacturer. Testing and Maintenance: Test the system thoroughly to ensure all cameras are functioning correctly and recording as expected. Regularly check and clean cameras to maintain optimal performance. Update firmware and software periodically to patch security vulnerabilities and access new features.

Puppy training classes and dog training classes are suitable for general dog training and relationship building. Classes are run in line with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Traioners) code of ethics, and training techniques are based upon positive reinforcement, using dog treats or dog toys and play as rewards for completing the actions we ask the puppy or dog to complete.    Classes will be limited to 6 people, to ensure I can circulate and provide individual feedback relevant to your puppy or dog training. We will teach foundation behaviours, with the benefit of being in a dog training class environment, which relies on your dog working around the distraction of other dogs. Classes will also teach you to effectively communicate with your dog and give you the skills to practice outside of classes and implement the training in your every day life, in a rage of environments. Puppy training classes and Dog training classes last 1 hour. They are run on Friday mornings in Bishop's Stortford. Teaching basic number skills to children with Down syndrome and other learning difficulties using the Numicon approach. Basic number skills are vital to enable everyday social inclusion and independence. The training will commence with an overview of the learning profile of a child with Down syndrome; exploring working memory and how this impacts on learning numbers. It will detail how children learn basic number skills – recognising numbers, saying number names, counting to find ‘how many?’ and early hands on addition. It will explore the challenges faced by children who have Down syndrome and other learning disabilities and demonstrate how the use of Numicon as a visual representation of number can help to overcome these difficulties and lead to increased understanding and confidence.
