Suitable for complete beginners Age 15 plus Join Lynne from Pots of Magic to create your own ceramic Greenman plaque . During this 3 hour workshop you will be guided through each section using basic hand building and sculpting techniques . During the first 90 minutes you will sculpt and form the face ,with the opportunity to create your own unique character . There will then be a teabreak before you add the foliage to your Greenman Foliage will be provided however if you wish to personalise your plaque using leaves from your own garden please do not hesitate to do so . (Please note leaves are rolled into the clay to leave an imprint then cut out .therefore leaves with veins give best results ) Once finished your clay creation will dry out slowly for 2 weeks before under going its first kiln firing . Once bisque fired it will then be professionally glazed by Lynne and enter the kiln again for its final firing . Your final piece will be ready for collection 4 to 5 weeks later from Ainsdale . All materials Tuition Glazing And both firings are included in the price. £60 pp Complete beginners are welcome and no experience is required We look forward to a fun creative morning!

All our classes are friendly, technical, inclusive and open to all levels especially beginners! If you feel like you aren’t experienced enough to join class, please don’t worry ! There will always be a higher belt to help you go through new moves and sequences or someone ready to explain what BJJ and Capoeira is all about and to answer all your questions. Each session will be 90 minutes long In our Mummy Morning it will be very easy going  with an option to take part in gentle core exercises to slowly strengthen our core and pelvic floors which is vital after birth, but not only that, we work on the whole of our bodies.  Our bodies go through so much from carrying our little ones but the process during and after impacts our precious bodies, so we need to look after them.  Mind, body and soul :)

The Knit Club is open to anyone interested in approaching crafting and textile art for the first time and to any creative who would like an opportunity to make together and connect with other makers. What to bring: all materials are provided! I want to participate in "Blankets for London": our mailbox is now CLOSED for Blankets for London 2023. Thank you so much for having participating! We will start collecting new squares and blankets in 2024. Pictures will be taken during this session: please let us know if you'd rather not be photographed, we want to make sure everyone is comfortable. At Black & Gold Audio we offer beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert sessions for anyone aged 14 and over. The sessions are carried out either within our studios in Truro, Cornwall or remotely using ZOOM. They are designed around you the learner and your own specific wants and needs. Our tutor is an expert in the fields of acoustics, recording, traditional and electronic music composition, music production, sequencing, sound design, mixing and mastering, film, TV and game audio. Who is this course for?  Candidates who are interested in a more one to one based learning program remotely or within a professional industry standard environment, tuition is flexible regarding days, hours and regularity. Most importantly the tutor can design a program that it suited to you and your requirements, a meeting with the tutor can be arranged beforehand to discuss a learning plan for you. Flexible 1 to 1 tutoring is a great way to learn at your own pace with no pressures and with the support of an industry expert. What will I learn?  This is a very open ended question for these types of sessions, its about what you want to learn and our tutor will talk with you to figure out the a suitable program for your needs. The aim of these courses is to build a basic to advanced knowledge and understanding in various specialist areas of the industry, each tailor made course will support your learning through progress tracking and access to some amazing learning resources provided by our tutor. Each session will focus and build upon the last so that you are eventually able to meet your desired end goal. What equipment do I use on the course? The Black & Gold Studio is equipped with a huge range of both industry standard recording equipment, hardware synthesizers, drum machines, fx processing and control surfaces, and that’s before we even get inside the computer!! You can be taught to use DAW’s such as Logic Pro X, Cubase, Pro Tools & Ableton Live as well as explore other 3rd party softwares such as NI Komplete, Izotope, Fabfilter, Waves and so many more.
