A fun creative workshop full of colour for any level and perfect gift! Just bring your keepsake along and discover how you will use Barbola to create your piece of art?  Barbola which was a popular technique found in the 1930's. You may have seen these beautiful vintage pieces? This technique was often found on mirrors, trinket boxes, fire screens and cigarette holders. It was originally made from gesso in the shape of flowers, fruit and leaves. On the day you will learn how to make your own flowers and leaves using moulds and how to make your piece have the charm of the 1930's! We will need any dietary requirements as a luxury cream tea lunch with a pot of tea or fizz will be served.. whatever you prefer! This one day event includes small items for you to work on and materials to create and paint your Barbola like acrylic paints. You can also choose from the whole range of paint from Sophie James Decor. In this fun and focused session you will learn how to throw pots with a wheel each and have the opportunity to paint what you make for firing. Carole will demonstrate the process and teach you the technique. The session is suitable for all including children age 7+, couples, friends, families, and small groups.

In this workshop, instructor Rahamatullah will lead as you learn: • How to begin a macrame piece, including an overview of necessary materials. • How to work several different macrame knots. • How to incorporate a wooden ring and wooden beads. • Leave with a finished plant hanger, and the know-how to design and create more pieces on your own. We would like to welcome you to a creative Saturday afternoon with our team and hand build up to three pieces in our creative studio in Angel. No prior knowledge or skills are required.  What is included:  Instructions and guidance by our team members Sculpting kit and tools A variety of flowers and greenery to choose from for your creative imprints Glass of bubbly or floral lemonade and light refreshments Fun and relaxing start to your weekend It is a small class so we can pay attention and guide you all the way through the class. We will fire your pieces and they will be ready for collection in about three weeks after the class.
