Paint Some Pottery With Your Friends! These adult-only painting sessions run every month 6.30-9. 30pm. Pay for your chosen seat/table inc studio fee, welcome drink, half a large pizza, salad and coleslaw, dessert, coffee & mints. Select an item of pottery to paint on the night (sold seperately) and enjoy your evening. Our studio team will be on hand to offer advice, tips and suggestions on techniques that may help you where you want it. These evenings are relaxed and friendly and the ideal opportunity to have some fun in a creative atmosphere! 😁 Please note once painted your pottery will be glazed & fired and ready for collection 7-10 days later. You are welcome to BYOB on the night (glasses and ice provided at no extra charge). If you have a big appetite & would like a full Pizza please add this on at checkout. Menu will be sent with Pizza & Dessert choices once booked. The Pizza's are from Monte Cristo, a local restaurant. If you wish to cancel with min 7 days notice we can offer you a credit to a future pottery & Pizza event subject to availability.

Suitable for people of all levels of experience; from those who are new to watercolour painting, to more experienced artist, this foundational course in watercolour painting, unites primary techniques so that you can expand your creativity in one coherent approach. This fully guided course covers topics such as: · Seeing shape: Translating three-dimensional objects into simple shapes before painting. · Mark Making: Exploring different types of marks and developing good brush control. · Understanding Basic Techniques: Learning fundamental techniques such as creating washes, wet-on-wet, wet -on-dry, glazing, lifting, and blending. · Colour Mixing: Learning how to mix colours to create a wide range of hues and values. · Composition: Exploring the principals of composition and design to create visually interesting drawings. · Subject Matter Exploration: Experimenting with different subjects such as still life and flowers.
