About this event This portrait class will provide you with all you need to start drawing from a sitter including paper, pencils and tuition. More experienced artists/portraitists are welcome to attend and bring any specific materials they prefer to work in. Please arrive 15 minutes early to set up. Model will start at 6pm precisely. Stitch n bitch are social sewing sessions aimed at people who love getting together over a glass of wine and with some music on to work on garments, discuss designs, encourage and celebrate sewing. Machines and food and drinks all provided.

The Dance of Earth and Venus results in one of the most beautiful and breathtaking rhythms and patterns of the solar system. Every eight Earth years (13 Venus years) they dance a pentagonal form in space akin to the pip-star inside your apple or the petals of a primrose flower! During this course we will learn how to draw this incredible pattern using the traditional tools of compass and straight-edge; we will explore the key aspects of Earth and Venus' cycles that determine such extraordinary heavenly harmony. And time allowing ... with copper leaf and watercolour paint made from malachite and azurite - which in the Hermetic/Alchemical tradition have forever been associated with the planet Venus - we will create stunning mandalas embodying the Earth/Venus dance ... Our Cosmeti-Craft Workshops are a great way of learning a new skill and having some fun making your own cosmetics. Children from age 5 upwards can have fun learning about colours and smells while older children experience a more detailed tutorial on the uses and effects of cosmetic ingredients.

An exciting bath bomb making workshop awaits as you firstly learn to make a Gin inspired bath bomb to match your complimentary ‘Bath Tub Gin’ for each person, served in a mini bath tub. You then undertake an advanced level tutorial of technique to make a colour changing bath bomb to match your captivating second complimentary colour changing Gin.
