What is Disciplined Agile? Where did it come from? Where is it going? How can it help me?

By IIL Europe Ltd

What is Disciplined Agile? Where did it come from? Where is it going? How can it help me? In your organization, you are very likely using a variety of approaches to deliver solutions to your stakeholders. You might be using traditional waterfall, agile, or hybrid approaches. If you are applying agile methods or frameworks, you might be using Scrum, SAFe®, Lean Kanban, or 'roll your own' techniques. Regardless of what methods you are using, the Disciplined Agile (DA) tool kit can help you to be more effective. It is an agnostic, comprehensive library of strategies and practices, with practical advice for which ones work for in different contexts. Many organizations struggle to evolve an agile way of working (WoW) that makes sense for their unique situations. The good news is that you don't need to figure it out on your own. The DA tool kit leverages the experiences of thousands of teams who have already struggled through the very issues that our teams currently face. By referencing these strategies, you can accelerate your journey to project delivery success using a technique we call Guided Continuous Improvement (GCI). Learning Objectives This presentation explains the value of the Disciplined Agile tool kit and how to use it in practice with GCI across your entire organization, putting you on a path to true business agility. Learn what DA is and where it came from Learn about where DA is moving next Understand how DA can help you with your projects

An Introduction to Professional Scrum

By IIL Europe Ltd

An Introduction to Professional Scrum Although Scrum has been around for more than 25 years, it is still a new concept to many. Moreover, there are myths that arise. In this session, Eric Naiburg, Chief Operating Officer for Scrum.org, provides an overview of the Scrum framework. He'll discuss how Scrum enables agility, and how an empirical process can empower teams that use it. You'll learn about the empirical process in Scrum where decisions are made based on observation and experimentation rather than on detailed upfront planning. We will apply this learning using facts and real-world examples. This and other IIL Learning in Minutes presentations qualify for PDUs. Some titles, such as Agile-related topics may qualify for other continuing education credits such as SEUs, or CEUs. Each professional development activity yields one PDU for one hour spent engaged in the activity. Some limitations apply and can be found in the Ways to Earn PDUs section that discusses PDU activities and associated policies. Fractions of PDUs may also be reported. The smallest increment of a PDU that can be reported is 0.25. This means that if you spent 15 minutes participating in a qualifying PDU activity, you may report 0.25 PDU. If you spend 30 minutes in a qualifying PDU activity, you may report 0.50 PDU. What You Will Learn: Common myths and misconceptions about Scrum The 2020 Scrum Guide, Scrum Events, and Scrum Artefacts The Project Manager and Scrum Accountabilities in Scrum How Scrum can be used with other practices like Kanban, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and more

Outstanding Leadership is of Essence

By IIL Europe Ltd

Outstanding Leadership is of Essence We are undergoing an enormous amount of change. Aligning tools, acquiring companies, simplifying processes, creating new business models, onboarding new partners and designing new customer services are only some of the elements that constitute what we call "a year of transformation.' One of these efforts is the "Agile Transformation.' To achieve true business agility, we need to incorporate an understanding of a true agile mindset, its processes and structure into the whole company. This is a challenge since it touches upon all areas, including HR, finance and purchasing processes. This presentation will explore how outstanding leadership that models the right culture, behaviors and accountability is what makes or breaks this effort. This and other IIL Learning in Minutes presentations qualify for PDUs. Some titles, such as Agile-related topics may qualify for other continuing education credits such as SEUs, or CEUs. By IIL Europe Ltd

When is Your Agile Transformation Done? After over a decade of agile transformations. many organizations have several years of agile experience of agile are naturally looking for signs that the change is complete. Attention turns to the level of skill or maturity an organization needs in order to declare the transformation a success. As a result. models of agile maturity have emerged that promise to somehow measure how agile you are.The good news is that agile. by definition. should be iteratively delivering value from the moment a transformation starts. Looking back. your ability to deliver has already changed immeasurably. You are already faster. more focused. and delivering a product with higher quality. The bad news is that you have only just started your journey. Change itself has changed. as Gary Hamel said. Osteoporosis Awareness Course

3.5(2)

By Elearncollege

Description Osteoporosis Awareness Diploma Osteoporosis means 'porous bone'; it is a medical condition in which bones become brittle and fragile, thus leading to breaking bones from minor injuries like a fall or even simple actions like sneezing. Osteoporosis may be caused due to hormonal changes or deficiency of mineral calcium or vitamin D. People with osteoporosis either lose too much bone or make too little or both, making their bones have less density or mass, resulting in abnormal bone structure and weak bone tissue. Osteoporosis is a severe disease as weak bones break, accompanied by severe pain that may not quickly disappear. Statistics tell us that around one in every two women and approximately one in four men aged above 50 will get a broken bone from osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is most likely to affect the bones in the hip, spine and wrist and if the bones of the spine collapse or break, your body posture changes. Osteoporosis can even cause some people to lose their height. Osteoporosis restrains body movement and agility, which keeps people from doing everyday activities leading to isolation and depression. Osteoporosis also leads to other health problems, and those affected may require long-term nursing and care. Lack of osteoporosis awareness is a serious issue because osteoporosis is responsible for two million broken bones every year, which translates to $19 billion spent annually on osteoporosis. This amount is expected to reach around $25 billion annually by 2025, with three million broken bones. Osteoporosis Awareness Diploma is an introductory course that provides insights into what is dubbed as a 'silent disease because of its scarcity of noticeable symptoms. Osteoporosis Awareness Diploma is a highly recommended course for everyone, especially those in their middle ages and leading a sedentary lifestyle. What you will learn 1:Understanding Osteoporosis 2:The Bone 3:The Major Risk Factors of Osteoporosis 4:Osteoporosis in Men and Children 5:Maintaining Strong Bones through Healthy Diet 6:Exercise to Maintain Healthy Bones 7:Dangers of Fragile Bones 8:Finding a Doctor 9:Bone Testing 10:Drugs for Osteoporosis Course Outcomes After completing the course, you will receive a diploma certificate and an academic transcript from Elearn college. Assessment Each unit concludes with a multiple-choice examination. This exercise will help you recall the major aspects covered in the unit and help you ensure that you have not missed anything important in the unit. The results are readily available, which will help you see your mistakes and look at the topic once again. If the result is satisfactory, it is a green light for you to proceed to the next chapter. Accreditation Elearn College is a registered Ed-tech company under the UK Register of Learning( Ref No:10062668). After completing a course, you will be able to download the certificate and the transcript of the course from the website. For the learners who require a hard copy of the certificate and transcript, we will post it for them for an additional charge.
