P405 Managing Asbestos in Buildings is the industry standard qualification for those whose work involves asbestos management, such as duty holders and building managers. In addition to holding the qualification, they are required to undertake and provide evidence of annual refresher training. RP405 Refresher is a new course, specifically designed to meet this requirement. RP405 Refresher enables candidates to revise and update their knowledge on good asbestos management practices, and to receive a certificate of course completion by passing a written examination, which covers both the theory and practice of managing asbestos in buildings.

2 Day First Aid Refresher Description:The 2 day First Aid at Work Requalification Course is nationally recognised. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. The 2-Day first Aid at Work Refresher Course is appropriate for candidates who are currently holding an in-date and valid full First Aid at Work Qualification. Upon completion of the course the candidates qualification is renewed for a further three years. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Learners receive a First Aid at Work guide book, a training dressing and a CPR barrier protection device. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year. Classroom Teaching (15 hours week) The classes are topic-based (money, healthcare, schools etc.) or deal with everyday English situations. All the grammar is introduced systematically and integrated with the situations and topics.   New structures are learnt through student-centred activities, with language targets practised through pair work and group work. Our teachers use a range of teaching materials, making use of internationally-recognised course books and work they have created themselves.   Supplementary exercises can be set as homework to further reinforce the work done in class.
