This is an introductory course to perfume creation, you will learn brief history of fragrances, olfactory families and psychology in this creative, hands-on, fun and expert-led workshop. This half-day group class teach you the basics of perfumery. Led by our master perfumer, you’ll access a starter selection of premium natural and synthetic perfume ingredients before creating your own bespoke fragrance. Tour start from St Giles Cathedral or your hotel and last approx 3 hours ​This photo tour usually starts in Edinb8rgh Old Town but as it is a private tour this can be adjusted to suit your needs. It starts off by instructing you how to get the best out of your camera if you require this (and skipping it if you don't) and then the emphasis is on capturing stunning photographs of Edinburgh rather than the usual tourist snaps that most people will capture. You really get to see Edinburgh in a different way and with the help and advice of Will who has worked as press photographer, covered humanitarian crises in Iraq, shot covers and content for Lonely Planet guidebooks, covered Fashion week for many years but now concentrates on teaching from his vast skill set. ​If you prefer the tour to take place in the New Town, Dean Village etc we can do that too. We want you to see the best of Edinburgh, hear some amazing stories about our city and leave with great photos regardless of your skill level before your tour or the equipment you use. In this exciting, educational and intriguing full day sea glass course, you will be shown how to make your own solid silver jewellery pieces incorporating sea glass and take away your own unique pieces to wear and treasure or as gifts for loved ones.

Growing some of your own produce is one of the most empowering experiences going, especially now as lockdown restricts us and food security concerns abound. This course is ideal for anyone with a polytunnel that wants to learn how to use it most effectively all year round (including to have lots of luscious fresh produce over winter)

This course is ideal for all, from beginners to confident makers. You will learn the basics of leather craft for accessories and be introduced to techniques including machine stitching on leather, hand finishing leather, inserting hardware and decorative leather techniques. You will be working with a sustainably sourced lush vegetable tanned leather. This is a perfect introductory or taster course to start your journey into leather craft. In order to complete your purse in a day we will use part pre-cut parts and the purse will be made from a ‘Hands of Tym’ pattern but do not fear there is still plenty of work for you to do. During the day you will be directed by your tutor Leathersmith and London College of Fashion Lecturer Georgie Tym to make a ‘raw edge’ ‘concertina’ small leather purse with small internal pocket and a flap closure. There will be one small stud to keep the purse closed and the opportunity to personalise with initials and a small design of your choice. The dimensions of the purse are H130mm x W 95mm x D 10mm and it will be the same construction as the purse in the photos featured. The course will be run from the home studio of Hands Of Tym in Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 9DHParking available on the drive with easy access via the M40. Banbury train station is a 30 min walk. Trains run from both London Marylebone and Birmingham to Banbury in 50mins. Also well connected to Reading, Oxford, Leamington Spa to name a few. Maximum class size is 5 What's included in the price? There are no additional costs. All leather, hardware and other materials will be included. Following a varied career in Accessories design and development across many roles and international brands I set up Hands of Tym in 2016.
