Ymca Lakeside - North Camp

Booked here just before covid hit. During covid all bookings were understandably postponed and received an email that they would contact us on reopening. This never happened. We contacted several times and they initially said theyd look into rebooking Fast forward after the pandemic, now everything has reopened. They are refusing to rebook or offer refund. Taken our money and not followed through Maybe its an okay place, id have no idea. But customer service and resolving issues was horrendous

What an amazing spot. From the breathtaking views to the variety of activities to do. Staff was super friendly and professional and always happy to help. Definately worth a visit.

We camped here for one night as part of a group/club summer camping trip with Woodland Experiences…..and after just a few hours everyone wanted to stay longer, which in itself says a lot about this experience. The site was perfect, part of the YMCA campsite at Newby Bridge, so the location was ideal - right next to Windermere with access to the shower and toilet facilities. The staff at Woodland Experiences couldn't do enough for us, instructing us how on how to set up our hammocks and tarps ...

I attended a canoeing event at the YMCA Lakeside. It’s a beautiful spot on the shores of a beautiful lake. The facilities are excellent and well kept and the packed lunch and hot dinner supplied were excellent.
