  • Course in good condition and a decent test, but where this course really wins is its very warm and welcoming hospitality - both from staff and members. Not just couldn't fault them, but they went beyond the normal you'd expect.

  • Flat, rather up and down layout. Fairways generally in good condition, given the time of the year (early February) and trolleys allowed, which other clubs have been banning. However, I still managed to pick up a lot of mud on mine and was very disappointed in the cleaning facilities - no compressed air just an old fashioned shoe brush stand and a very poor hose that nobody seemed to be able to use. The breakfast was ok.

  • Well designed and ever evolving, they have added two new golf simulator bays in the clubhouse. Excellent for re-entering the game after a long pause over the winter or otherwise. Seriously well maintained course. Your precision will be tested throughout the game.

  • I have just arranged a Reunion Party for 50 guests at Wyke Green Golf Club. George Reid and his team did a truly superb job, with extra special attention to detail, they really deserve huge plaudits for a super event. The food was outstanding and great care was taken with people’s allergies etc., The staff were very attentive and helpful and certainly helped to make the whole evening extremely successful.

  • I'm from Australia and played as a guest of one of your members. The full experience, from pro-shop, half-way cafe; final bar and the general friendliness of members/players that I interacted with made for an enjoyable day of golf with my friend. I like the format/process of the half-way cafe (ordering prior to the 8th tee) - I'm thinking of recommending it to my club as a service to introduce.
