Joined last summer with limited previous experience and I’ve found it to be a really friendly club. I’ve done a bit of kayaking and canoeing with them and quite a few of us Stand-Up Paddleboard too. Just back from a 2-day paddle and camp with the club, which was great fun and valuable experience for me as I’m keen to do some longer multi night paddling trips. The annual Llangollen trip in October was another highlight. Over winter it was great to practice capsize drills and other skills in a ...

After a year of being stuck inside myself and my husband decided that we wanted to get out more and thought kayaking looked like a lot of fun. After a handful of lessons in various places we wanted to find a way to get out more in a safe environment. In December we found WKCC and joined up as soon as we could. Joined the club recently, the club has members with a wide range of skill levels from total beginners to very experienced coaches, both in kayaking and canoeing. There is a good selection of both on the water and social events put on throughout the year including trips away. I found the members to be very welcoming and helpful.

I've been a member of Wychavon Kayak and canoe club for many years and when my family and I first came along, we were made very welcome. We had no experience what so ever but with the kind guidance of the coaches, we soon were paddling confidently. We have so many fond memories of events which we took part in over the years, as a family for weekends away aswell as having support for my family members to work through many courses to become better paddlers. I highly recommend joining this club.

I'm an inexperienced paddler and I've only been a member for about six months, but it has been great - the experienced members are very helpful and put a lot of effort into supporting and training newcomers to the water. A range of club boats are available to use which is useful if you're not ready to buy your own. And the club caters to a wide range of abilities and interests, so there is something available for everyone in the club's activities.
