As, a now 45 year old athlete, I came to Mark 5 years ago looking to do my first Ironman. I was probably best described as a good local club runner who dabbled in triathlon. And since then I’ve done 2 Ironman races, many middle distances triathlons and also broke a world record for a long distance triathlon. Mark’s sessions have been great, varied and always improving and the key part is, he has kept me injury free. Mark has allowed me to continue to focus on running, when I am not in triat...

I have been coached by Mark for a number of years. I am not going to lie: his sessions are tough however they are structured and enjoyable and they do incorporate rest days. He knows his job and he's happy to try novel ways to tap into your potential. After all, we are all different. He coached me during my cancer treatment and during the pandemic, and on both occasions, this helped me physically as well as mentally. He supports his athletes and encourages them every step of the way and he ha...

My most successful periods of triathlon have been when I have been coached by Mark. Mark is always there to offer support and advice and training with him really produces...

I've been coached by Mark for nearly 4 years now. He's always available for questions, and consults with you each week to ensure the training plan suits your work calendar. It's also worth mentioning that Mark is a really nice guy, who genuinely cares about his athletes. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I was sceptical at first about having a coach, but after a few months of having Mark as my coach, I wouldn't train without one. I've seen a drastic change in my fitness and my goal of an Olympic distance triathlon has now become a very capable half ironman distance triathlon. A very reasonable price with a coach to help you 24/7, helping you out of your comfort zone and giving you a training plan that fits around your other commitments.
