Had a great day yesterday with me and the old man on the Rivington Lake. The toilets are a bit of a trek, but other than that, good. I managed to catch a few fish now that the weather has started to turn so really happy all in all

Had a great days fishing on the first lake yesterday. Unseasonably warm so I decided to make the most of it. Had the lake to myself all day and caught Roach, Bream and a few Tench all on corn. Some big carp knocking about too but I didn't manage one. 8 quid for the day, toilets on site, ample parking and good pegs. Loved it and I'll be back again most likely in the new year.

I have fished Wrightington for 25 years and it’s a very picturesque well manicured fishery. The Horseshoe for pleasure anglers has plenty of silvers, Tench and Carp to well into double figures. Rivington view has the same but a wider expanse and very well maintained pegs and great island to fish to stocked with everything and huge Perch 😉 Then there’s the stunning canals and very well stocked with Carp, Silvers, F1’s and more, give it a go it’s a great fishery Jonathan

Been here a number of times recently and it never fails. Caught carp over 10Ib and a number over 7Ibs. Nicely looked after to with good pegs. There's 4 ponds/ canals to fish.

Never fails to provide this place, especially the canals. Was snapped off 4 times on there last week with one of the carp easily 15lb+ before it got under the platform. Well run, clean and excellently maintained lakes. Biggest mirror of the session was a mirror at 13lb 2 oz, (after deducting the weight of the net) all on 6mm pellets.
