Woodlands Outdoor Education Centre

We went here on a school trip. It’s a really nice place and location, with good activities. However there are a couple bad sides. Firstly, the guides Nick and Dan are quite snide arrogant and aggressive, while dylan and Mark are quite good. Also, the dinner was either very small or not very good, and lots of mattresses were really bad. But had a good time overall

As a school who have been going here for the past 28 years plus, I can highly recommend this centre. As a Headteacher who has been to many different providers in the past Woodlands standd read and shoulders advice the rest. So a five star rating well deserved.

I had an ok time. I enjoyed being with my friends in the rooms and the evening activities. But I have to say the daytime activities were not fun, and that is for one reason. My instructor was horrible. He was called Nick and he made the whole experience stressful. Every day I would dread the thought of going to the activity because of him. I remember from year 6. I lost a thermal sock (really warm sock). Just be wary, if ur on lunch and dinner duty and you are left alone to wash the lunch, you will not have time to have a shower. And you will show up halfway through putting dinner on tables. If you are lucky, someone will tell a teacher or a member of staff that you are not there for dinner duty. They will look for you and do lunch duty for you. While you go run to the cloakroom and take your canoeing suit off. I did not shower...
