Woodcarving Art

This carving course was a fantastic experience! Angel is a master of his art and is able to teach an enormous amount in a very short period. He manages to perfection the challenging task of teaching in a generous and light-hearted way, whilst balancing it with a precise attention to detail. My wife and I booked two full days and they flew by. We progressed from complete novices to producing some very carving. We will be back!)

I booked the 4h beginners lesson for my 14-year-old daughter. Angel was very professional, calm, patient and knowledgable and I was impressed with how much they achieved in only 4 hours. Great experience!

What a great 4 hours. Angel came to my house and gave me a lesson in carving, he was extremely professional in his approach and teaching. We carved a basic 2D shape and a more complex flower pattern. He also showed me how to sharpen which I found easy under his supervision. I have bought a few chisels now and practicing what I’ve learnt. Thank you Angel for a terrific 4 hours it flew by. Angel is an exceptional teacher. He is very clear and concise with his instructions and also very encouraging. He would always reword his instructions until he found ones that made sense to me. If you have the opportunity to be his student, I recommend you take it. I learned so much in just 7 hours and will definitely be taking woodcarving more seriously.

My husband and I booked the 4 hour session with Angel. He was punctual, came fully prepared and tooled up and eased us into the art of woodcarving slowly and patiently. We thoroughly enjoyed the session and hope to book Angel again after we have had lots and lots of practise and are ready for the next step. Would highly recommend. Great days Carving tuition with Angle. Extremely knowledgeable and really helped me with bad habits I’d developed while self teaching. If your a complete beginner or someone that wants to improve I can recommend Angle enough. Really great guy and you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be using his services again for definite.
