Great place to start or go back to dinghy sailing for all ages. Unlike most clubs there are no paid staff, all done by volunteers, keeping costs down and encouraging members to get to know one another.

The best club that I've been to. Keen racing on Sundays through most of the year. Super well organised and very friendly. A great place to learn to sail and race dinghies for adults and children alike in a beautiful setting. Entirely run by its own membership.

A Mecca for keen dinghy sailors. There are other clubs nearby but non with the ethos of keen racing and sailing. It's also set in a lovely woodland which goes down to the waters edge. There are no roads and so a great place for kids to explore in safety whilst parents are out enjoying the fascinating river which is full of history. As for dinghy racing this is the keenest club on the Medway and possibly the SE. Many ex champions race boats here, some very high performance classes but also mod...
