Played Wick Golf course this morning. What a gem. An excellent example of links golf, 9 holes to the north, and turns around to play 9 back to the south, right on the dunes. Very pleased with the course conditions and a very friendly welcome from the members. Weather this morning was very kind.

What a fabulous links course less than a mile from seashore. Very windy and lots of slopes. In great condition with tough greens. You need to hit straight. Book up and go play.

9/10. Well worth a visit. Over 150 years old and very traditional old-style links course. 9 out and 9 back.

Played Wick a couple of years ago in the rain and wind, great fun. Played on 23rd June, gentle breeze and a little sun, dry. Even more fun. Greens in excellant condition.

This how grass roots golf should be played and how better to enjoy an understated but beautifully kept traditional Scottish golf links course. Tight lies on salt washed fairways with fast true greens...but a challenging back 9 when the wind blows. If you are in this locale it is a must play and you will be assured of a friendly welcome..not to mention a stern test of your golfing mettle. I for one look forward to a future return visit.
