Booked for this weekend just gone, we booked an overnight stay in whitby so we could get up and get straight off. 7pm the night before we received a text to say the trip was cancelled due weather even though it was sunny and no wind. Luckily we got another trip booked that night with the crusader in Scarborough. This guy is known to cancel last minute for poor reasons. I would not recommend

DON’T TRUST THE GUY, YOUR TRIP IS NOT SAFE. I booked 2 months in advance and messaged the guy 4 times in between booking and the actual trip, he said the trip was all still fine, the day before the trip he sent me a text message to say he had accidentally over booked and was full and I couldn’t go. I know he had booked a group on and fobbed mr off cause I was on my own. Use costal fisher, he is much better

I booked a fishing trip around a fortnight in advance, travelled up the night before and stayed in an apartment in Whitby with 2 of my boys. All was good until 2 hours before the trip, I got a text message from the son of the owner telling me my trip was cancelled as there was a mix up with my booking and as the other party had booked the whole boat, my trip was cancelled! Myself and my son set off at 7.30am to get there for a 3 hr fishing trip (10-1) upon arrival i could see that there were alot of boats so i rang to make sure i found the right one, they answered so i gave my name to which they hung on me, i tried ringing back several times which no-one answered, from speaking to other skippers they told me that all fishing trips have been cancelled due to the wind and that i should of either had an update the night before or...

What a fantastic experience!! We were booked on the same trip as Anthony Deacon and while I can confirm that the boat did leave later than expected the rest of his review is very unfair to say the least. We arrived at the quay side and Barry the skipper told us that due to an elderly guy passing out on the morning trip the boat the trip would leave later than expected.
