Whickham Golf Club Ltd

Visited with our Seniors team and had a very good day out. The Whickham members were all friendly, and our playing partners made the day very pleasant. Found the course to be in very good condition and a fair challenge of golf. Clubhouse is in very good condition with pleasant surroundings. Hopefully will visit again soon.

Played there today & pretty impressed. The course is beautifully situated in the hills overlooking the Derwent Valley. As a result, the views are stunning even on a grey day like today as my photos show. Although hilly in places the 6,000 + yard track is not unduly physical & is populated with some really good, challenging and interesting holes. The four par 3s are especially good. Fantastic course. Very well presented and maintained with some beautiful views over the Tyne Valley. Very friendly staff and members. I will definitely play it again.

Course was in great condition. The greens were the best I've played on for a long time. They go the extra mile to make the course enjoyable. The greenkeepers should be applauded for a great job.
