Wetheral Bowling Club

Great club. Friendly people

Went on Saturday to one of their social evenings to talk to members and find out about bowling and the club itself. As a consequence of that I went on Tuesday afternoon to have a go at short mat bowling for myself. The people were really friendly and helpful and very patient with a total beginner like me. They just have fun and don't take it too seriously. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and am hoping to go back again soon.

Lovely green. Nice club house. I enjoyed a tournament there and the bacon sandwich was scrummy.
