Westgate Park Bowling Club

My husband has recently joined Westgate Bowling Club and has asked me to correct some negative comments made in the past. The club is now well run and is a great place to play bowls. All the members are friendly and make new members very welcome and are always ready to give friendly advice. The problems in the past are in the past and the club now has a happy and bright future ahead of it.

In response to Mr Scott’s posting. Mr Scott, I’m not sure, but I can guess where you are getting your information from, but I wish to put you right. 1. The club is being run in accordance with our constitution 2. We are currently promoting Westgate Bowling in more ways than one 3. With reference to Derek Scotts recent post. Derek Scott was a Social Member only of the Club. He never contributed anything to the Club. Not sure he even turned up more than once or twice. So his comments are totally malicious and irrelevant.

Just like to point out to previous comment by Derek Scott that I have been a member of this fantastic club for 18 months and I have never even heard of him or seen him at the club during this time. I would say his comments are not only untrue but offensive as I have joined the committee recently and have all my new ideas listened to and actioned. We have many new members coming on board. Club is being very badly run by the present committee. Total lack of interest by them to promote the club. No interest in the current members opinions or ideas being put forward. Long term members leaving and going to other clubs in the arèa. Need I go on?
