Westbury Park Tennis Club

Westbury Park Tennis Club is very friendly and keen to teach new players. I attend both the Tuesday and Saturday sessions and find everyone at both to be very welcoming. It also provides good value for money in comparison with some places.

Westbury Park is a small, well kept and friendly club. I joined a couple of years ago after not playing tennis for 20 years and it's been fantastic. The social evenings were perfect for easing me back into the game, and when it all started to come back to me there were also plenty of opportunities to play more competitively (both within the club, and in league matches). It's reminded me why I love tennis so much, keeps me fit, and I've met a great bunch of people.

I joined the club after a friend recommended it to me when I moved to Bristol - it was honestly one of the best things I did when arriving in this wonderful city. The friendliest and most welcoming club I've ever been a member of, with the perfect balance between competitiveness and fairness to everyone in the men and women's teams. The club caters for players of all levels and the courts are always in fantastic condition.

I've been a member of the Westbury Park Tennis Club for over a year. I joined wanting to get back into tennis after more than 20 years and it has been the perfect club for getting back into the sport. Everyone has been very warm and welcoming. There are opportunities to play social tennis as well as league and last year there were even quite a few of us that were really keen and played through the winter - whatever the weather! A small but friendly club.

All weather courts with floodlights, a clubhouse with decent facilities, and even a ball machine for when I turn up alone. On this basis alone, it's incredible value. Great spread of other members, with all standards of play catered to. Great bunch of fun people who just enjoy playing tennis together. Club night Tuesday is always fun, and the men's knock about every Monday is a great opportunity for practice. Thoroughly recommend.
