I was trying to organise a few riding lessons for my mums 60th birthday, as leaning to ride is something she's always wanted to do. I called the meadow school of riding and was greeted by "I'm in a lesson, I'll call you back" - needless to say I never got a call back. I left it a day it two and called back again, this time I managed to have a conversation with someone about what I wanted to do for mums birthday and I was told yes that fine, 30 minuet lesson, can book you in ect... but her ...

My four year old grand daughter broke her arm while riding at this establishment. Accidents happen you may say but it's the way the incident was handled that is both shocking and sickening. The proprietor, Dawn was teaching her as a private lesson, the pony was not lead as it normally was and was particularily skittish on the day. Parents are not allowed in the arena. The pony bolted and she fell off onto her arm. She was screaming and Dawn told her to wiggle her fingers and to stop making a ...

Dawn leads an excellent team of friendly and professional staff and volunteers for anyone wishing to learn to ride including children and adults with special needs. Highly recommend.
