Well we are out of season I guess so my experience is probably not representative... but I had probably the worst bacon roll I have ever eaten. How you can dry bacon out to that extent I do not know. Rock hard and unpleasant.

Recently had a group golf day at Waterstock. It was my first time playing the course. The course was in very good condition considering the weather and is suited to all ability levels. The facilities aren't great but if you're there for golf (on the course) then it's a good safe bet.

Interesting course with some great holes and a fascinating layout. Bit of traffic noise from the motorway but not distracting. Friendly clubhouse and tasty sausage butties. Really good value well worth a visit.

Friendly staff. Only played the front 9. The holes are a good mix of fairly straightforward ones and some tricky ones. I good place to start getting experience in golf.
