  • The staff and members were so friendly and even gave us a tour of the building. We had lunch which was a lovely and very reasonably priced

  • I recently spent 4 days at the training centre doing my RYA Level 1 sailing and then RYA Powerboat Level 2. We had some challenging weather for the sailing with gusty conditions on day 1 and then low wind on day 2. The instructors and assistants were very friendly, helpful and patient, especially when we got stuck on the mud as we struggled to tack in the low winds.   • Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff and an amazing location. They have a bar, restaurant and sailing school/RYA Training Centre. Lots of training courses on offer including RYA Powerboat Level 2 and RYA Safety Boat. Update: Just had our first inside meal out following the relaxing of COVID rules. Glad to find that whilst the remaining rules were being well followed (well spaced out tables, masks when moving not seated etc) it did not impact on our enjoyment of the night. The staff po...

  • I was a member up to 1971 when I departed to live in the colonies (NZ). We last visited the club in 1987. Looking over the website, I'm amazed and delighted to see how the club has advanced since then in all respects. Very impressive.

  • This is a members club but they were so pleased that we, as non members, ate there. Sunday roast was superb, beer was good and we had lovely views across the sea. Very friendly and once the lockdown is over, we will definitely go again. We were made to feel very welcome.
