Walthamstow Borough And Aveling Park Bowls Club

Went there yesterday and signed in by a friend who's a member. Very friendly place in a beautiful big old building. Bar prices are cheap and the patio by the green is perfect in a summers day. Wish it was local to me as I'd join.

A very welcoming bowls club for a complete beginner like me. The artificial surface is great for all-year-round bowling, and there's a mix of internal and external competitions for players who want to participate in something more formal than the roll-up sessions
