Having played Lytham the day before and watched the usual youtube videos on Wallasey I was really looking forward to my round there. We were execeptoinally lucky with the weather again and although the wind was blustering, there was beautiful sunshine, the type of winter sun that as it goes down at the end of the day it lights up the short cut fairways with an orange glow, simply stunning. I have to say I absolutely loved Wallasey, the moment you hit the ridge of the 4th and the sea comes in...

I have played here for years and always enjoyed it - BUT I have to say that I have never seen the course and greens in better condition [and it's December!!!]. The work that has been done to improve the course [particularly on "Amen Corner" around 9 10 and 11] has made a very good Golf Course into an outstanding one - it was a pleasure to be able to chat with the Green Staff today and let them know what a fantastic job they have done - well done all at Wallasey Golf Club

A great links course in excellent condition, would recommend a visit and it wouldn't be your last. Course is great, 12+holes are in the dune complexes others on the flat, both styles offer the golfer the chance to play steady and then get rewards for good golf. The fairways are generous and the greens are undulating, a superb links course. Members love their course, will go back again.

Was invited to play here by a very good friend and what a great invite it was. Stunning course with stunning scenery. This is a must to play and is a course steeped in history. The clubhouse is beautiful and again has so much history a day could be spent in there alone. Thank you and I'll jump at the chance of playing this superb course again!
