Club with a great home-ly feel and bags of history. Always interesting people to talk, great views of the river and fantastic bar prices and service most evenings and for private functions.

I was passing by and saw a group sat around a biscuit and what looked like playing the guitar with one hand around the biscuit. They also laughed at a bloke who fell off of his skateboard. I mean their behaviour shows what kind of club this is. Also this place gives me the vibes it’s an exclusive club for a certain type of people, if others wish to join they probs can but won’t feel welcomed if you get what I’m tryna say

Popped in for a drink or two upon invitation by the current club President and had a terrific evening at the bar, served by the devilishly charming Robin. Was shown around the lovely building and its facilities and succumbed to the history, charm and character of the place and its members. I sense a Spring/Summer '22 Learn to Row course in the pipeline.
