Had a very enjoyable day course was in good condition and the fairways were much better than my home course Bowood. The clubhouse was very friendly with a good selection of hot food I've played this course 3 or 4 times now and very much enjoyed it.
Excellent golf course. Club was founded in 1912 so proper old fashioned layout making use of the hilly countryside and chalk hills. Freezing conditions - played January - so all 18 holes had temporary greens which weren't great but not the worse I've seen. Will definitely play again when warmer. Decent clubhouse with decent food and drink. Well worth a visit.
Great course with lots of history. Peter Allis had apparently said some holes are the most scenic in England with views over Salisbury cathedral and the white horse valley.
Great place to play golf, rarely gets too wet. Underrated challenging course with great views over the Vale of Pewsey and one of the renowned Wiltshire White Horses
Lovely setting and challenging course. Staff were friendly and attentive. New clubhouse being built so will be having an upgrade of facilities. Course can be steep in places so an electric trolley is ideal. Green Fees reasonable.
