Fully recommend Union Jab! I've always struggled to find a sport to enjoy and thought I'd give boxing a go. So glad I did! Charlie is a great teacher that supports all fitness levels and will make sure you're okay during the class. The type who will push you, but not too far, and doesn't mind if you need to stop for a breather (me). If you've not done a class with Union Jab before, just go for it! Affordable, friendly and most of all fun!!

Brilliant classes that cater to all abilities with a good mix of light and heavy sessions in the morning and evening. The overall feel of the place has always been welcoming, even as a "newbie" to fitness, and Charlie will absolutely help bring out the best in you and keep you on the right track. Great atmosphere - Cannot recommend it enough!

Having tried (and failed) to stick to any kind of fitness plan or attend classes for more than a few weeks, I've found Charlie's classes to be absolutely incredible. Charlie is friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable. This is the only gym where if I have to miss a regular session, I go out of my way to do a different time in the week whereas before I'd just skip it and be done. I've been coming along to the sessions for a few months now and it has been great! Charlie makes everyone welcome and gets the best from them, regardless of their skill and fitness levels. I recommend these classes for any fitness levels!

Charlie is the best coach I’ve ever worked with. He’s patient and very inclusive, catering exercises to each participant’s ability in the class. The exercises are always fun, like flipping tyres or relays, which makes pushing myself much easier. Always professional, Charlie gives great guidance on form and on how to get the most out of exercise which I’ve found applicable in my own workouts.
