Am here on a camping/sailing/paddling short break with members from Scaling Dam Sailing & Watetsports Club. The weather was glorious upon arrival, and then typical Lakes weather which is taking the edge off... that said, the clubhouse is open for us to keep warmer and dryer of an evening; launch facilities are good, shower & toilet facilities are decent. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The location, of course, is superb.

Superb site on the lake, good facilities apart from the showers and changing rooms can be quite filthy af times. Good place for dinghy racers, but beware if you have a yacht on one of their moorings. They squeeze boats in too close together, and the small print says they take no responsibility for any damage and there often is.

Friendly club with good facilities in a beautiful location. We had a days training in our own (new, to us!) boat with an instructor. This was well tailored to our skill level and sailing interests. Alex was great with my teenaged children and we learnt loads and got our confidence up to sail solo for the rest of our week up here. We may well join now :-)

An excellent sailing club with some of the best views of any club in the lakes if not the UK. Very good facilities for learning to sail with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Drop in and pay them a visit if you're looking to learn to sail you'll be most welcome.

Attended an 'I am Team GB' sailing taster session. Things were slightly chaotic as it was so well attended but everyone involved was friendly and welcoming. Beautiful surroundings but didn't go in the clubhouse itself.
