Uk Bbq School

I have just returned from an outstanding day with Marcus Bawdon in conjunction with Somerset Grills. It was great to have a true expert show the Asado Grill off working as intended and at its best. His enthusiasm was contagious and the cooking was on a different level. I cannot recommend his BBQ School highly enough. A must do if you like open fire cooking and all things BBQ. What a fantastic experience, the location is superb set in the country side, all under a purpose built covered Gazebo, Marcus is so chilled, takes questions as you go and very knowledgeable. 3hrs of cooking and explanation then an hour where you get to eat all that you've seen cooked, question and answer time and the drinks all included. I have attended two courses this Summer (Basic & Intermediate). In a nutshell they are just great! Marcus has a very relaxed friendly approach to teaching. His passion for all matters barbecue is very obvious and quite infectious. Ably assisted by Sue they bust a lot of myths and (in my case) switched my thinking from ‘I like barbecue but it’s a bit stressful’ to ‘barbecue is quite relaxing and fun’!
